Chicago, Case Report #1

Mission: Close a 16-year-old cold case: three teenage girls slain in a small Midwest town.

Investigator: William "Spence" Spencer. Thirty-six. Bachelor. Top-notch skills, on the job 24/7. Shows exceptional sensitivity to client's needs.

Client: Dana Hall, twin sister of one of the victims. Troubled, amnesiac, alienated from family, suffering from horrific nightmares about the killer's identity.

Comments: Significant danger. Escalating threats against Dana's presence in town. Spence believes Dana is hiding something relevant to investigation. Possibility he may be hiding something himself. Has his strong, naturally protective nature compromised his professionalism? There's always a first time.

Bismarck, ND. Case Report #5

Mission: Close a case involving three teenage girls slain in an historic Midwest frontier town.

Investigator: Dean Vedder. Twenty-seven. Bachelor and unexpected dog owner. Amnesiac since serious motor vehicle accident and resulting coma eight months previous. Suffering troubling nightmares about a yellow-eyed man.

Client: Sam Young, PI from neighbouring state. Tall, handsome, far too familiar for Dean's comfort.

Comments: Sulfur at the crime scenes. Sam is hiding something relevant to the investigation and their history. Can Dean's preliminary findings help Sam help solve the crime? And will the other man's presence mend Dean's damaged memories, and give them peace once and for all?
